If time travel (into the past) technology were possible, and I were aware of such a thing, I think I would do anything and everything to prevent anyone from ever using the machinery.
That some schmuck could obliterate my 11 year old's existence (by steppin' on a butterfly, for example) is an unacceptable risk.

That's nice. I am so inept and uncoordinated, that I can't even catch a butterfly, while others trample all over them.henry quirk wrote: ↑Tue May 29, 2018 4:26 pm If time travel (into the past) technology were possible, and I were aware of such a thing, I think I would do anything and everything to prevent anyone from ever using the machinery.

This is an ethical question (the OP) because we are NOT equal to each other in abilities and privileges.
