There are and I've invested in one of them but they don't and can't do what a central exchange does.
Hack-a-thons along with significant pre-testing and developing standard practices are reducing bad code...
 'Hack-a-thons' are exactly a source of bad code as they are prototyping sessions and it's post-testing you need and this will only be done by big corporations who can invest the time and money involved.

Its blockchain technology that is in the early stages, cryptotokens are just a part of the technology but you are dreaming if you think these things are going to go anyway other than the interweeb did. It's all just fantasies of the disabused 'left' that such things will usher in some kind of 'utopia'.

Bitcoin and the Bitcoin blockchain were invented around the same time. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency. So...

What do you mean by interweeb?

What are you referring to when you use the word left?

Blockchains and cryptocurrencies are ushering in a new concept for value, security, commodities, and currency.

...really never said blockchains will usher in some kind of utopia. Really don't see that.
