Anarchic globalisation versus Tyranny versus Altruism
The tide may be turning against globalisation. More correctly, we live in close contact across the world, and the question is whether it is globalised from the top down, from the grass roots of society, or as one community of individuals.
It may be observed that there is a conflict today between various forms of tyranny and the universal rights of individuals. Especially with regards to population control and the preservation of minority rights and ecology. Which last brings in a missing dimension, for these minorities are often definable racial-cultural communities that are being erased from existence, as they have been for hundreds of years since the new world was opened up - and before. This has now become elevated to a new level that will erase the identity of even the main groups of peoples that have existed and developed for ten thousand years.
Tyranny is duty based, amongst other values, whilst anarchism and altruism confer rights. Altruism is socially responsible based on the community and larger societies such as the nation state. Equal rights is simply that, but nothing is implied about what that equality comprises. Anarchists are defined in part by claiming the right to do virtually anything, not outrageously destructive, and to go anywhere.
Altruists have rights that embrace [innocuous] culture, and these are communal rights. Everyone has an equal right, within his own community or nation and a duty to it and each community has rights and equality globally. Anarchism begins with a vast show of diversity, person to person, but eventually such a global mix can only result in a single cultural soup, and far worse if there is no effective world government.
Pragmatism is an essential value, and it belongs least of all to anarchism.
