Religion alone has remained wholly new religion
Has remained simple like the hangars of the airport.

Torture
Since you happened
You've been on tv too
As a form of entertainment
Why

Occupy Las Vegas January 29, 2013 at 05:29

as the final machine, crumbling, out of fuel,
grinds to a halt
and spits its shrapneled gears into the wasted world,

the earth’s last fat man, nervous, guards his plate.
“god damn that fly!”
she watches in bemusement as she lays her eggs.

Stars and Stripes

Tar and Tripe
This poem's called
It's about US that are fooled
I'll stop it now
Should i?
Should die?
For saying that
Laugh out loud!
Am i the twat?
Esses are good to remove
Lets start it now
Dont be a tart
For the s of swine and the s of sin
Now sevens gone are we even?
And the e of energy
and the c of light
Please ChangE!
or else HANG?
Mmm fall fool
Me more why?
me_mor_y
Why?
Why do i have more memory?
I drink little
I dont smoke
I only ink
And pass a joke
Mmm there you go.
PIssED piper am i?

Angles for Angels.

Love Is...

Love is second nature
Love Is reflex, love’s innate
No struggle or effort needed
To care for your mate

Love obliterates ego
To point where there’s no “I”
Love for someone else bids that
Selfish ego goodbye

Love is instinct, built within
Our blood and DNA
Love does not need to “cool down”
True love has no delay

We see it in our animals
In how they care for young
Inherent duty to protect
The small lives which have sprung

We see it in the packs that travel
Together in wild
Loyalty for each other
Even the beasts reviled

But true love is so rare among
The human race it seems
A concept that only exists
Within most people’s dreams

Because the human mind is shackled
With such selfishness
Fear of hurt, embarrassment
Of having to confess

Their true love for another
Worry seeps in and corrupts
Choking the life out of love
As the ego erupts

Love is never angry and
Love is never hostile
‘Cause love is made of empathy
And ‘cause love walks a mile

In the loved one’s shoes and love
Lets go of own opinion
Love is not a slave to fear
And is not ego’s minion

Love is brave and bold and love
Makes no apologies
Love envigors, love strengthens
Love heals, love tames, love frees

From “me,” from “I,” from “myself” and
It opens selfish eyes
To smallness of the ego while
It makes the spirit rise

Zizek and Chomsky
To clash makes a splash. And in that spectators get wet, this is a good thing. Who are these two, etc.

Muzzle...Smashing Pumpkins

I fear that I'm ordinary, just like everyone
To lie here and die among the sorrows
Adrift among the days
For everything I ever said
And everything I've ever done is gone and dead
As all things must surely have to end
And great loves will one day have to part
I know that I am meant for this world
My life has been extraordinary
Blessed and cursed and won
Time heals but I'm forever broken
By and by the way...
Have you ever heard the words
I'm singing in these songs?
It's for the girl I've loved all along
Can a taste of love be so wrong
As all things must surely have to end
And great loves will one day have to part
I know that I am meant for this world
And in my mind as I was floating
Far above the clouds
Some children laughed I'd fall for certain
For thinking that I'd last forever
But I knew exactly where I was

And I knew the meaning of it all
And I knew the distance to the sun
And I knew the echo that is love
And I knew the secrets in your spires
And I knew the emptiness of youth
And I knew the solitude of heart
And I knew the murmurs of the soul
And the world is drawn into your hands
And the world is etched upon your heart
And the world so hard to understand
Is the world you can't live without
And I knew the silence of the world

BLANK

Post by Street Poet »

BLANK

There's lots of people getting drunk today,
Where the mind floats around ,
the shattered head,
To escape the dead weight of life,
A semi escape,
A moment of relief from their
hardened thoughts ,
in their concrete world.
Addled and on the sidewalk ,
Their eyes are untrue,
They hear a frequency of noise ,
some flashing images ,
Things lurking in the corners, or the edges
Talking humans ,neons
and brick and bins and trash
and food and shit .
All struggles and all words and
all destinations,
pointless and endless .
One day they will all be dead ,
And nothing mattered and nothing was
gained and nothing was lost .
Every dodgy deal and every rotten victory ,
Fame ,exploitation ,demise, rich and poor.
All for nothing
Blank .
