Each year the clothing fashion changes and it seems like people can't make up their minds. So I don't think people will ever settle on a fashion. In fact when you look inside a typical person's closet, you will see various types of clothing.

How do you see it?

I can't speak for others but I like to be comfortable - all other considerations can hang these days. Generally the gear needs to be suitable for gardening and dog walking.

I am so grateful to finally be in a situation in my life where I hardly have to engage in any mechanistic display behaviours, including sartorial displays.

He wore his mother's night gown to the office.

Unless she was a woman. In that case she was not banned. Women can't be banned... MODS are painfully aware of that. "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."

If you can be banned because you are stupid ("you" meaning general you) then I had better watch my jokes. As a general advice from myself to myself. "Myself" being the general myself.
