I heard somewhere that technology is on a path that will lead to realistic videos of people saying and doing things that they neither said nor did. AI’s capacity to digitally alter stored records will change official dot-connecting to confirm the manufactured videos. AI will determine the necessity for altering the record of facts. At that point, truth will be at sea in a fog. For the individual, facts will disassociate from truth. What will then become of the relativists?
