yesterday i was listening to Grace Slick. she is the singer of Jefferson Airplane. i love the song White Rabbit, and it was in my head because of the storytelling thread. i never knew the name of the lead singer, and found it yesterday, finding out that it was Grace Slick and so started listening to all of these songs by her i never knew existed.

here is one i found that i like that she sings called Darkly Smiling http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93k2kL-K ... re=related

and Garden of Man http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCYPx2xu ... re=related

music makes me want to drink cocktails  with smoking rabbits lol

b2b , thanks for the links : both strong female artists, different styles, similar message ( Grace's Garden of Man ) of love opening and light flowing ?

Lesley was pretty much unrecognised in this country. Elton John sang her ' Love Song' which is pretty much about what philos talk about : Love, Truth and Freedom.

Yup, 'Everything changes' - written in the 70's - but same old toon, huh ?!
Glad you like it , it once helped me put things into perspective.

thank you, i love it. i love the 70's lately, but yeah same old tune:) to me when the 70's started pouring into me like rain in the last few months, i just couldn't break away. to me its new:) (some of it isn't new, i remember my parents listening to alot of it, and it was also familiar and meaningful to me, although have basically ignored mcuh of it until recently? i really like it alot now

this is a change in "tone"/not necessarily only seems to be, but i just found out the lead singer of Type O Negative died:(, and they were one of my favorite bands so i can't help but post this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9kKA698 ... re=related

I like this song...it reminds me of the time I was standing in line waiting for coffee with my girlfriend and I had mentioned something about the way Europeans dance...I said, "You know...that dorky way they move on the dance floor that makes you smile cause it's so adorably geeky..." The guy behind the counter overheard our conversation, laughed and said, "That is the perfect description! They are adorable when they dance aren't they?" Then we tried to show my friend what we were talking about but it didn't translate that well...lol...although it cracked us up.

Here's another song that brings a rush...dance for me please....lol
