My bad. Here's another one by Gong that's a little more manageable.

What A Wonderful World

A remarkable performance. Check out the expression of his eyes when he sings, “I think to myself,” followed by putting a mask over the subtlety.

At 1:47 he drops more of the mask to let you see what he thinks to himself, in case you missed it earlier, and at 1:54 the trombone echoes his thoughts.*

* I think that dropping the verb "to be," from this description says more than, "This is irony in motion, plus."

A surprise but inevitable end follows listening to everything.

What does the video mean to you? Keep in mind that although this is one of those rare occasions where what you say will not be held against you (excluding any future ad hominemizers,*) by definition any answer is an epistemological derivative, which is appropriate for a philosophy context and perhaps if engaging, may lead to absolute truth,** which is or should be the target of philosophy whether to illustrate or disprove, so there’s no need to hesitate.

In contrast:

- It is a fascinating seed-thought. A thread examining the bell curve of the trance-state of consciousness is an engaging portal into philosophy.

- On one end of the bell curve: highly-stylized and precise movements borne of, and first found in spontaneity.
- In form is found the freedom that was first found in spontaneity … just as Wallenda found freedom in form.

- On the other end of the bell curve: the actual spontaneous origins of the stylized and precise movements that have been made into ritual, and in some contexts a performance.
- In the Wallenda context, life and death.

- Since some folks see three where others see dualism:

- Everyone always looks to the peak of the bell, where Quasimodo tied the rope to hang it in the tower, however, what about the flat-plane substrata under the bell, the virtually-perceived straight-line of geometry underlying and connecting the far points of the bell chime? Indeed. That goes ignored, doesn’t it. Uh huh. It’s going on all the time. However, one must keep in mind that when live folks are involved, the common denominator of the substrata, or the bell, cannot be entropy.

- Rap is rather free-form, at least in the presentation.

- Find a beat, feel it, rap it up …

- Remember what the philosopher said … “Don’t disappoint me.”

Got a tip they're gonna kick the door in again
I'd like to get some sleep before I travel
But if you got a warrant, I guess you're gonna come in”

...Drive your train, whoo
Trouble with you is the trouble with me
Got two good eyes but you still don't see
Come round the bend, you know it's the end
The fireman screams and the engine just gleams...
