b2b nine inch nails did hurt and it hurt, cash did hurt and it was shattering, changed the theme of the lyrics with an extremely emotive clip that tells the story of all of us who survive long enough.

'Because he wanted to be considered a composer of serious, substantial music, Camille Saint-Saens suppressed his "Carnival of the Animals" shortly' ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hjaBGAfWGSU

i've had this cd for almost 5 or 6 years(with peter garrett narration) and have never listened to it, until this last week

the link is similar to the cd but also different

1. intro

2. royal march of the lions, crocodile

3. hens and chickens, lizard

4 donkey, the cat

5.tortoiseson, reflection

6. the elephant, dugongs

7. kangaroo, rabbit

8. aquarium, duck

9. charactaters with long ears, mosquito

10. the cukoo, the wombat

11. aviary, birds

12. pianists

13. fossils, the inner creature

14. the swan

15. finale, grand parade

i really like the version i've been listening to on cd alot, different in some ways from the link i posted above, though i suspect its hard to find but anyways if anyone wants to try and find it, its carnival of animals, by saint-saens, words by michael leunig, australian chamber orchestra, directed by richard tognetti, narrated by peter garrett
