This makes a nice loop for light-step walking.

_______

Yuja Wang - Rachmaninov Piano Concerto No 2 in C minor Op.18

https://youtu.be/oD5pqlDPCHc

As I said in the YouTube comment section:
"Yuja Wang is probably one of the reasons why God doesn't wipe humanity out and start all over again from scratch. It would take too long to evolve a new batch of beings to the point where such musical perfection would be possible again."

^^^ listen closely to the tone of the snare drum at the exact moment of 0:20 after those two off-time high-hat 'pssts' (closing the hats). That's the sweet spot on the drum head, close to the rim. Hear how crisp it is compared to the tone of all the other snare drum notes? That's on purpose. Nuance, subtlety, and precision in the phrasing. I give you only the best, gentlemen.

Speaking of Herbie H.*, when Sony introduced the first Walkman, sometime around 1980, I bought it. 200 American dollars, retail. It was blue, had a metallic feel, detachable vinyl cover, two ports for headphones. Quite nice. I listened to Miles Davis' “Water Babies” every morning for about three months, in the good old summertime when the dog and I went outdoors for the morning run. Had to carry it like a little football, to not jar the tape heads.
Relaxing music plus exertion put the dimension of stamina on a soundtrack, which was a first-time discovery with the Walkman. Sunrises to music, just like in the movies.

Rachmaninov. He was the one that caused that guy in the movies to dramatically short-circuit.

I knew the actor (Noah Taylor) who played this part, when he was a peculiar little kid (I nearly went through his parents' ceiling at one particular gathering). It's just a shame that Helfgott didn't live up to the hype.
