Yes nice, thedoc. But a bit too dreamy, and the rendition comes over as a bourgeois nightmare. Too much pomp. I would like my pianist in overalls playing in a shed, with tools, etc.

An upright in a shed would not give the same quality of sound, but for other genra it might work. Anyway this was the only video of Victor Borge playing that piece that I could find. The setting, instrument, and genra of music need to suitable for the best effect. I happen to prefer classical music and was lucky to find a Baldwin Model R Baby Grand, and my Living room has very good acoustics, a happy accident. The celling is open and the room above is actually a balcony all the way arround, so the actual celling is very high. So the instrument and the room suit the music I like to play, for other styles a band in a garrage might work better.
