My philosophy-blog: "A Philosophy on Importance"

Post by The Voice of Time »

In this thread I will post all future posts from this blog. Which is a finite number in process of being translated.

I once, in my joy of wandering the realms of philosophy, took to writing a small piece of work I called "A Philosophy on Importance", trying to get to the core meaning and understanding of this thing called "importance", detached from social definition and heritage, and instead seen as something natural, ready to be studied by the eye.

It soon grew into a greater work, far from perfect and far from always being original, but still a greater work on the workings of the universe as a metaphysical rather than physical existence.

The work is written in a style made to feel like the reader is being taken on a trip into a metaphysical realm, with some thought-displays of outright fantasy-genre coming for later chapters. I did complete the last chapter which summarizes and gives the end coherent picture of what is the natural equivalent of the metaphysical thing we call "importance", but it was badly written and therefore I have a work without an ending. But it doesn't matter, I just hope you enjoy the few very short chapters (or posts) I make and hopefully some discussion may arise from them although they are made for dreaming after-thought rather than ordinary discussion, and at least one of them is highly personal I'm feeling inclined to change it to make it less focused on myself though I've not come to the bit of doing so, anyways, hope you enjoy :)

The chapters are from first to last (... list to be completed as translation is completed):

7) too be continued...

I'm running a simultaneous blog for an upcoming book-project. I use a style similar to that of Wittgenstein's tractatus. As each posts stays in alpha-version or beta-version until the project is completed I wanted some, with perhaps too much hope; constructive criticism to strengthen the text and make it more robust. I'll post the original text here as I'm not gonna advertise for the blog I'm using for it similar to my advertisement for "A Philosophy of Importance"...

Text here:

Part 1 - Philosohpy of Needs, Chapter 1: The Beginning, Section 1
Section 1:

i) Q: What should I know?
i x 2) A: There is the concept of the "best"
i x 3) Q: What is the best?
i x 4) A: There is no definitive best as best is opinion in that it depends upon the ideals of the beholder of view
i x 4) A2: There is no definitive best because best is defined through skill or no skill of guesswork
i x 4) A3-Depth: There is a pattern in nature following the use of the word 'best'
i x 5) A-Depth: This pattern has a pattern in turn
i x 6) A: This pattern does not stay a direct copy of original situation but, like an idea it spreads having in turn a pattern of spreading
i x 6) A2: The pattern of spreading creates a unnatural pattern-recognition
i x 7) A-Depth: The pattern of spreading and the pattern being spread creates a whole which can be used to analyse similarities in nature
i x 8*) Q: What is the pattern-product found of applying a pattern-whole which creates a matrix of information-filtering (that is; an analysis) similar to the pattern found on original best?
i x 9) A: the best is that which is perpetuated as only those things perpetuated can endure to last the length required to be the single-standing excessiveness termed 'best' as 'best', least grouped to a best-group, must strictly be single in its characteristic of 'best' within its domain; that is the sum of things considered, of being 'best'
