An individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for the law.

^ Thanks for posting that brother. The picture especially communicates. I have a need to communicate with kindred spirits, to hear and be heard by others who live emancipatory philosophy, meekly. You inspired my to DL some of MLKs work; I've started with this and will read it today,

Good choices.
I see both of your books are from the mid 1960's.
You have kindred spirits here my brother.
Good luck to you.

Thank-you Mister. I have already had opportunity to put the inspiring and experienced words of Dr. King to use here,

A critic ("Arising_uk") replied judgmentally, etc to my posts on contemporary shifting of sexoageist attitudes, so I responded with MLK's words to let the critic know I won't be able to reply,Bill Wiltrack wrote:.

"He rarely took time to defend
himself against his opponents."
- James Melvin Washington, A TESTAMENT OF HOPE:
The Essential Writings
and Speeches
of Martin Luther King, Jr.
"While confined here in the Birmingham city jail, I came across your
recent statement... Seldom, if ever, do I pause to answer criticism of my work and ideas. If I
sought to answer all of the criticisms that cross my desk, my secretaries
would be engaged in little else in the course of the day. and I would have
no time for constructive work."

Birmingham City Jail"

This thread needs to be revisited.
Dr Martin Luther King Junior's lights went out April 4, 1968 but his words still live today and his life still stands as a modern-day philosopher with no equal.
Dr. Martin Luther King, you are a god that has yet to be fully appreciated...
