Holistic and Aggregative

Holistic and Aggregative
An holistic society is one that is more than the sum of its parts.
More graphically, we may relate this to the present situation and commerce.
Apart from people merely serving the state.
There may be the Aggregative society and the Holistic society.
Aggregatively, a shortage of labour in a business or branch of commerce may well exist – measured by the output and profits demanded. Such a shortage may then logically be added to that of other industry, and finally aggregated fore the whole of society. There is then a serious shortage of labour and population in the country which must be remedied – endlessly - since industry can expand indefinitely. The result being social and environmental disaster.
Holistically, commerce serves society, and a population that is socially and environmentally acceptable. It is then absurd to say there is a national shortage of labour. Society can only require such a level of produce, by essential industry, as is necessary and can be sustained by the given population. Goods that are not essential thereby detract from wealth.
