I have no idea what he qualifies as, Gary, apart from being an idiot. Christians seem to be like breeds of dog, there are all sorts of varieties.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 9:08 pm Does he qualify as "Christian"? He seems to disagree with IC on a few things regarding the applicability of Eastern mysticism and yogi stuff to Christianity. According to IC, those things aren't compatible with each other. I wonder if that would make him a "blasphemer" or "heretic"?

True. And each variety thinks they're the only ones who have it right about Christianity. What a lovely "religion".Harbal wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 9:13 pmI have no idea what he qualifies as, Gary, apart from being an idiot. Not only do they think they've got it right, they actually think it matters.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 9:17 pm

Re: Christianity
I think they do experience it more. For instance, on this forum you don't see other religions attacked. And, I think the fact anyone is persecuted for any reason, is not justification for persecuting Christians.Harbal wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 8:54 pmI think the persecution of Christians is wrong, so I wouldn't dream of trying to justify it. But persecution is not an aspect of Christianity, and Christians do not experience it any more so than other religions and groups. I don't see the relevance of it in this thread.
You don't see the relevance of Christianity, to the persecution of Christians.
Harbal, this is why I called you a lightweight. Your piss stream is weak. You cannot reason from facts, or else your measure of proportion is not life.
You're dismissed.

All religion is ridiculous, and I am never reluctand to say so on this forum, but to call that persecution makes you look like a pathetic wretch.Walker wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 9:37 pm

Re: Christianity
Odd that you should mention Einstein. Is he someone you admire? Everything Einstein said was clear and unambiguous. He didn't hide behind ridiculous, pretentious gibberish and faux-riddles the way you do. What exactly are you trying to hide? Why are you so afraid of saying what you think? Which high security mental facility do you reside at currently?Walker wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 8:48 pmYou're the third coming of Einstein.Gary Childress wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 8:45 pmApparently, the word persecution only applies to Christians. It's (quite literally) "to hell with everyone else."
Another wise guy with just stupid comments.

Re: Christianity
Not sure if that's accurate or not. Perhaps there are short-term fluctuations in the level of persecution of various peoples, however, historically "Christian" institutions have been pretty good at it too. Often those who are persecuted most are those who are deemed at a particular time to be worthy of it. Then social dynamics change as to what counts as "worthy" and we come to realize how wrong we were.Walker wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 9:37 pmI think they do experience it more. Re: Christianity
I've never seen any 'christian persecution' on this forum. If you are referring to the exposing and belittling of self-righteous, misogynistic hypocrites then long may it continue with bells on.Walker wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 9:39 pmPussy.
