The More Things Change the More They Stay the Same

Post by Eodnhoj7 »

1. All phenomenon occur through change.

2. This change is the movement of one state to another.

3. Each state is a part in the progress of the phenomenon.

4. Each part is a point of change.

5. One point of change changes to another point of change.

6. Change is continuous.

7. As continuous the progress of the phenomenon is a phenomenon in itself.

8. A phenomenon is a continuity of change, it is the boundary through which change occurs.

9. This boundary is constant as change is constant.

10. This consistency of the boundary, as the consistency of change, necessitates the boundary as a summation of changes. An example would be a car as a series of moving particles. The car is a boundary of changes with this boundary itself being static and relatively unchanging.

11. This summation of changes does not change thus necessitating where change occurs so does a form of consistency which underlies it.

12. The more things change the more they stay the same.
