Which is precisely why we have segregation of duties in society.

Just because YOU have no use for the knowledge of flying airplanes it doesn't mean the knowledge is useless.
And when you do need that knowledge, you just pay somebody who already has it.

Obtaining knowledge from somebody who already has it it faster/easier than re-discovering it for yourself.
Advocate wrote: Mon Mar 22, 2021 5:17 pm Even now, many seconds later, we are still finite beings, and that means absolute limits, and that means it is a zero-sum game. We can only fit so much information in there and it's hard to ensure good supplants bad.
The "absolute. limits" are the limits of physics. That's precisely how and why we use technology! To augment ourselves.

The only way to transfer knowledge between humans was direct communication.
We invented writing/text for storing/communicating memories/knowledge across generations.
We invented computers to do it even better/faster/cheaper.

The finite limits of an individual are not the finite limits of humanity. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

What "both" senses?

It wasn't related to covid. It was related to you thinking that making decisions is the same as not being a twat.

The reasons i made the decision are valid, discussed elsewhere, and honestly none of your business.

Identity is action, that which moves is that which is defined. We are our actions.

That's obviously insufficient.

I have experiences.
I also have volition.

Volition is a type of experience. Sometimes i don't know how y'all manage to breathe.

So then everything's experience.

That's not even wrong.
