I was blown away by how i never even realized it was there, or existed next to me in my house all this time until that moment when i laid on the floor and happened to be underneath it looking up on accident. interestingly enough, people may find me odd enough allready, but inline with always having viewed things synchonistically later on i 'accidentally' found the following video, and i enjoyed it alot especially after my underside chair experience. i also enjoyed one of the alien comments underneath  (of course)

"Lay", not, "laid". Chickens laid eggs. You (past tense) "lay on the floor" and "lay down". If you "laid down on the floor" that means you put duck down on the floor (like "laid linoleum").

referring to Psychonaut's comments about psychiatry: Foucault's 'History of Madness' and 'Birth of the Clinic' should be enough for anyone to become suspicious of the discipline. No Scientology material is required!

Here is a website with lots of video conversations between philosophers. Looks to me as if they were mostly done using webcams and maybe Skype - which is certainly an innovative, low-budget way of making philosophy videos!

The website is called Philosophy TV

Kansas have better webcams than Syracuse. Read into that what you want.

Hello Travis,

I like the work that you have committed to your web site and your videos.

I like your content and commitment.

Speaking as a friend, the ski mask and sunglasses seem to detract and actually diminish the message within your videos.

Perhaps, as you evolve as a person and feel more comfortable with the thoughts you have you will feel less like a criminal, less like you have to hide because of your opinions.

Good luck to you and I look forward to coming vids!

You might be interested in the film American Philosopher, a documentary about the rise and role of philosopher in American life with a particular emphasis upon the development of American pragmatism. Commentary by Richard Rorty, Hilary Putnam, Richard Bernstein, Joseph Margolis, and many other philosohpers.

You can watch it online from the following links
