Pandemic Economy

Post by RWStanding »

Pandemic Economy
Society and the Economy form an holistic whole.
There are three classes of Society and even war such as WW2 does not necessarily undermine the social-economic structure. Which in the world we have is based on money.
But a pandemic such as we have can and does appear to be undermining society-economy with government action undermining commerce and normal monetary transactions. The result is the fourth class of society which is Chaos.
The normal economy should be frozen, so that no business or person can be ruined. A shop owner with no trade having security but surviving through his ration book allowance.
Money needs to b e replaced by the Ration Book for particular goods and people obliged to work where and how they are needed according to their professions and trades.
If and when a large proportion of the population is in isolation and unable to work, there must still be enough to maintain a minimalist economy. Even though there are health dangers in their continuing to work.
It is WW2 with the screws tightened.
