If Plato is the philosopher of the idea, or kind of thing, all human beings are Patonists. However, Plato grips the human thinking and talks about it longer than the other humans. He says, there are kinds of things. In noticing there are kinds of things he raises the question of the origin of the kinds. Since he regards human speech as the form of the understanding or of reason he says reason grips the kinds. Since he says reason lays hands on the kinds he says the Phenomena, and generation in the field of the eyes, is not the main thing with the kinds. Reason is already ready to grasp kinds of things that do not now stand before it but are only for it in talk. Even though all humans know of kinds, they do not seize upon this feature of their beings. The Aristotelians, most of all, are Platonists. Since they raise a specifically pondered solution to the vision of the kinds in order to audaciously attack reality with their reason which seeks to answer why about all the things the eyes see. Thus casting the answer back into the region of the eyes which now takes on a strange definitive and defiant opposition to the region of the understanding or speech.
