Ethical Ambiguity

Ethical Ambiguity
As has been said often enough there is an unfortunate linear ethic in this country and generally, that divides people and nations into bigoted opposition. Where values are based on broad categories of stable society, set against chaos, more reality and a proper ambiguity can be introduced.
With three broad categories of end-values, there is an integral ambiguity. Each social condition is in contrast to the others without being in hard contradiction. Ethical values describe people and society, with particular values predominant in one form of society, or consonant with it. But the same value will not be entirely absent from other forms of society.
Thus altruist-democracy must be defined by freedom of polite and rational debate. Forms and degrees of tyranny will only have rational debate within narrow bigoted predetermined limits. Anarchism will debate everything with minimal shared rationality.
Tyranny will have minimal public freedom, anarchism has autonomous freedom for all, while altruism has corporate mutual freedom. Pity the foetus, baby, and infant, subject to the autonomous parent.
It is implicit that ‘all’ will be all individuals in a society, and all societies globally.
Altruist society is minimally bigoted, with no ethical justification for such a society, apart from a practical justification that it is the most likely to work and survive long term.
Appealing to ‘god’ is like saying gravity causes us to fall, it tells us nothing about what gravity is. If god is ‘virtue’ then it is virtue that must be described as fundamentals of existence.

Practical can have an ambiguity with sensitivity. If you are only thinking practically, you have no current ambiguity. If you are only thinking sensitively, you have no current ambiguity. But if you are thinking in both ways, your thinking is ambiguous.

But ambiguity will be a factor in many different ways and between many different people.

It seems to me that ethical ambiguity comes not from ethics only.
