Mechanical Altruism
An altruist person or society is altruist because that is what is believed.
Albeit, pragmatically, he and society may have unworkable or inadequate ideas of altruism in its application.
Altruism that is adopted in obedience to authority, even where termed ‘god’ is mechanical and not genuine.
Albeit, to an altruist, mechanical altruism must be preferable to the contrary.
Altruism is a belief in freedom within the limits of positive pragmatic social rules.
Personal freedom without limits but with personal autonomy, albeit essentially egalitarian, is not altruism.
Personal freedom without egalitarianism is freedom for the few and is authoritarianism.
Altruism is intrinsically a society that operates from the grass roots of social organisation upwards.
Altruism is an end value that unites freedom and social pragmatism.
Autonomy is an end value that unites freedom and the ego.
Authoritarianism is an end value that unites the ego and social pragmatism.
Or terms that are consonant.
