Objects and Ethics and Equality and Tolerance

Objects and Ethics and Equality and Tolerance
In the altruist society all people are equal, but everything they do is open to criticism or legal redress for its purpose. Within the bounds of what is tolerable everything must be open to criticism, with the freedom of individuals to disassociate themselves. [I do not assist in promoting gay relations, etc etc]

There is what should be an obvious distinction for the question of equality, between the object and the ethic. People as material objects are not good or bad and are greater and lesser than each other only in purely material terms of size etc. As such all people are equal.
But we act with purposeful intent towards each other and the world in general, with outcomes for individuals, society, and the world. This is entirely a matter of ethics at various levels including the inter-social or political.
If any and every intent and outcome is treated as of equal merit then there is chaos.
But for any cohesive society these intents must have a focus, in the individual, in society, or the corporate body.
If the focus is in the individual then all intents and purposes are equal, that have a minimal respect for life.
If the focus is the corporate body or state, then it is the whole that matters and not particular individuals.
If society is the focus then every body in association is important – the altruist society.
