Re: The Scapegoat
Do you dispute my preconditions of philosophy? Clearly you do, and that is why this conversation can go nowhere, DAM. I'm not trying to be rude, but those conditions are basic premises.

Thought does not observe.Dalek Prime wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 4:02 pm
Play with thoughts all you like, that's what it boils down to; there is thought, and there are things independent of observing thought.
So What observes thought?
Re: The Scapegoat
I know of no precondition.
Tell me what this precondition is?

I just did, above. Read what I say, instead of having me repeat it.
A precondition is a premise to be built on methodically. Do you not have any, if you can't except my basic ones? Then you have nothing to build on.

Awareness is thought. And only it observes.Dontaskme wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 4:07 pmThought does not observe.Dalek Prime wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 4:02 pm

So there must be an aware creator present to know witness the accident as having happened.Dalek Prime wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 4:04 pm
Because I've seen thought disappear in the blink of of traffic accident.
But then you had denied previously, that this something needing an aware creator..

Here again are my two basic philosophical premises:
A. There is thought (awareness). --Descartes.
B. There are things that persist beyond thought. -Paracelsus.

No, you are just confused. Now stop blabbering and start reading. A basic understanding of my premises clarify my position.Dontaskme wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 4:14 pmSo there must be an aware creator present to know witness the accident as having happened.Dalek Prime wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 4:04 pm

Yes, it's called memory...memory on demand builds what appears to be seamless reality.Dalek Prime wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 4:09 pm

What is aware of memory?

My awareness, oh repetitive one. Look, you are a solipsistic. And I'm not dealing with your issue.Dontaskme wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 4:17 pmYes, it's called memory...memory on demand builds what appears to be seamless reality.Dalek Prime wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 4:09 pm

Awareness is not thought.
There is awareness of thought.
There can be awareness without thought...but there cannot be thought without awareness.

Is this awareness that you claim to have the something you were talking about earlier that you said does not need an aware creator?

Re: The Scapegoat
Just spit your point out precisely, if you have one. I'll tell you if I agree or not, should it make sense. Make it really precise and unambiguous. Ambiguity is your problem.

Now that's just stupid.

You seem to be losing ground have you lost your tongue?
Just keep answering the questions?
Is this awareness that you claim to have the something you were talking about earlier that you said does not need an aware creator?
