Time to seize the chores until another diem.
I was converted to the joys of washing dishes by paying attention to the now.
Being in the now. Breathing in the now.
And then I woke up, seized the day and bought a dishwasher.
Still needs filling and emptying. The cycle of life. But I get to do other things. Like appreciating the moment, being aware of the slushing and clanking noises; wondering if it's ethical and ecological friendly...

But maybe it's not the day runnin' from you but you runnin' from it...because you can't face it. It does need to be seized in both hands, and given a damned good shake up !
You better shape up 8)
Not you personally, but then again...

To be in the now means to be in eternity, which is where you are now.

Phenomena exists in time, and is transitory.
Movement of mind activates time.

The phrase, “being in the now” is a conceptual observation that the real you, which is awareness, is witnessing the movement of time-bound phenomena from the vantage of the timeless eternal which is not apart from phenomena, but which is not phenomena.

The phenomena of moving mind may include memories of the most recent witnessing, such as the memory of the seams on a fastball prior to the home run.

“Seizing the day” is mind movement made from the “being in the now” state of consciousness, and results in some thing moving, even if that thing be fingers tippy-tapping on the keyboard.
Still chewing this one over...

In a way, yes.
In another way, no.
But I think I'd better sleep on it...

Well he's currently occupying my Kindle and sends me to sleep every night. I don't know what else to say. Actually, I'm beginning to regret saying anything in the first place. Just forget I mentioned it, Rumpole means nothing to me, I'd never even heard of Rumpole before I mentioned him in my last post.

Well Rumpole does that with the help of Chateau Thames Embankment.
