Good for you. Sounds wonderful.

With your assortment of assumptions and projections one may as well call you a shotgun wielding lunatic.

I respect truth, not belief or the violence that belief leads to.

Listen. You exist. You did not create your biological existence. Whatever did, is called God.
End of story. Protect that life given to you, or not. Worry about it, or not. Be fearful, or not. No one really cares, unless you start infringing.

Empirical evidence.

Call it anything you want. Call it Nature, since apparently the sound or concept of God so distracts you that you miss the point.

Call it the source of inalienable human rights.

Fortunately for you, those rights have not been infringed where you live, so you still have a choice about the way you protect what was given to you by … Nature.

Someone was looking out for you.

Those are simply the facts.
True philosophy must be based on facts
that find their way into wisdom.
Otherwise, it’s just cozy chat.
Otherwise, it’s just barroom buddies
makin big plans on a napkin.
A mind that shies away
from mock terrorism
Or shies away from truth
Knows only an unnecessarily limited philosophy.

Feel free to ask some 'dumbed-down' questions from:

1. Geography
2. Entertainment
3. History
4. Arts and Literature
5. Science and Nature
6. Sport and Leisure

Have fun - I'm off partying elsewhere...
You should. :)

“Philosophy moves essentially in the element of universality, which includes within itself the particular.” Universality provides us with intelligibility in our experience with the particulars: no universal, no particulars—just an amorphous mass of blooming, buzzing confusion. That's why it grieves me that anyone would print a magazine or sponsor a forum according to which everything seems to matter except everything and then have the audacity to call it 'philosophy.' It's like Jim Jones or Hitler calling themselves Christian or North Korea calling itself Democratic People's Republic of North Korea.

The sad thing is, there will always be people stupid enough to believe words depict the reality.

I should...do what? Play Trivial Pursuit? Ask a question from the list of 6 ? Have fun and party elsewhere ?

Good idea for the Lounge at this merry little time of year. Along with some mistletoe; a little love and kissing, no thinkin' or chattin'.
So, you gonna start it off with a dumb but fun question ?
