Ten paradoxes

Post by Philosophy Explorer »

Paradoxes can stimulate the mind.

Which one in this list comes closest to being a true paradox?:

Paradoxes only exist where the rule or state has two interpretations that are both true but appear limited to a unique solution in a given dimension. They are meaningful when one discovers the dimension to which they are distinct by perception. It acts as a force to discover where they exist distinctly as contraries.

For instance,
Assume A and B true.

Only where A ≠ -B or B ≠ -A, do we not find a problem. But since B can also be reinterpreted as an infinite other things, the assumption can be true both as a contradiction AND a contrary by providing a place for each to be simultaneously true though only uniquely 'true' by perspective.

Paradoxes are contradictions that appear literally real. But this very factor hints at another place to maintain consistency in our reality or proves our reality inconsistent.

Imagine a device which you can only place in one unique value to which you assume the device does nothing. You should expect that if this device should return that identical value (because you assumed it does nothing). Yet if it returns something you don't expect, a value not allowed by your interpretation, you either have to reassess what this device actually does OR you have to accept that you cannot determine why this is occurring to remain consistent. If one insists the paradox remains, they are simply opting to be entertained by the mystery or have yet to determine why it occurs the way it does.

This is like observing a magician doing this. You remain entertained by the apparent paradox if you don't try to interpret it further. But if you tried to, you really may be able to solve it. Technically, you should be able to but in reality, sometimes you don't have the practical reality to even allow you to repeat this. For instance, if you ask the magician to repeat it, they may opt not to and you can't even try to solve it. But your inability to do so doesn't assure you that what you saw was literally a paradox. You just lack recognizing the missing dimension. In fact, simply observing such a paradox assures you that this dimension EXISTS and is why I argue for this fact in my own theories regarding physics. [The multi-universe is just such an example inferred.]
