"The good on the many, outweigh the good of the few, or the one."

The individual should sacrifice his own rights, (identity) for the rights of the tribe.

(not necessarily my own view, but this is what I take from the OP.)

This was one of the basic lessons of Mythology in Hunter Gatherers.

"Individual identity is arrogance"

Who is speaking?

And to whom are you speaking?

Are you and individual addressing individuals?

Isn't that arrogant?

Well if we where to look at say greek pholosiphers in terms of effect on the world we have to realy group them or package them.which is what we do. the indervidual is not important .we may say plato said this or that but the truth is the real identity.we are looking at the truth not the indervidual.

Please use your spell-checker. It's just lazy not to do so.

Spell-check doesn't fix everything, look at my post, "Good on the many"? should have been "Good of the many".

If individual identity is arrogance than all beings are arrogant and the word is meaningless. Individual identity comes from individual perspectives and that's an inherent part of being an embodied being.
