Post by RickLewis » Mon Nov 02, 2015 1:39 pm

Philosophy Now magazine in association with Conway Hall is once again organising London's biggest and most inclusive philosophy festival.

The 3rd Philosophy Now Festival will be held all day on Saturday 21st November 2015 at Conway Hall in Red Lion Square, London. It will include numerous philosophy events created by more than a dozen different philosophy organisations. The Festival is free and open to all. Details and a full programme can be found here:

The George Ross Memorial Lecture will be given by Prof. David Papineau of King's College London. The title of his lecture will be "Moving Towards Equality".

This year's Award for Contributions in the Fight Against Stupidity will be presented to Cressida Cowell, author of the How To Train Your Dragon books. She is the first children's author to win the award. Last year's award was presented to Noam Chomsky.
