I've been going to various Portland groups at Meetup.com for awhile. Any of y'all on here? Self-inquiry? Drunken philosophy? other?

I also had my own group for a bit, for philosophy plus entheogens, if any of y'all are into that.

Sadly, yes. I tend to be trapped here for some reason.

Another example of one "trapped" in self-delusion.

That some reason that you think or believe that you are "trapped" is because of belief and/or assumption.

No, it's because i don't have enough resources that anyone will let me stay on "their land". Thanks for playing.

I really like y'all. It seems to me to be a useful grammatical innovation. Makes it clearer that you are addressing a whole bunch of people rather than just one person. "You" is a little ambiguous in that respect, as it can be singular or plural.

In the South, y'all can be singular.

Maybe we could revert to "thou" and "ye." It might be fun; and at least it would disambiguate the pronoun.
