Old guy, big John Muir fan and I am lot like him.My main focus is enviromental and not philosophy here on the beautiful Oregon coast. Lucky me!
I attend the Episcopalian church because john Muir is a minor saint. I find it easier to just say I am a lot like john Muir, they get that, and I don't have to be theological.
My degree is actually theology. And Like philosophy, it's a necessity, till you discover it's absurdity, and come to realize then, why it's a necessity.
A favorite quote from a 13th century nun
"We cannot live in an interpreted world, for an interpreted world is not home".
