Hello I’ve just joined this forum, I work as a Podiatrist specialising in MSK Biomechanics. I started a side interest in philosophy in terms of epistemology and philosophy of science in 2004 when doing an MSc in applied biomechanics. In 2009 I became a Christian and my interest in philosophy was directed in terms of apologetics and discovering how and why the world thinks as it does. Presently I am tending to focus on the rise of (Jamesian) pragmatism and how it applies to the BioPsychoSocial approach to applied medicine and health care but also it has lead me to think that Jesus’ teaching is quite pragmatic pragmatic especially when you consider the writings of W James’ namesake - James the apostle, who says that the proof of the reality or truth of your belief emerges from the action you take in that belief. Anyway that’s me - Cheers!
