I wish the OP had quoted/presented some statistics to drive home his/her point.

Covid killed 7 million.
Stalinism led to 25 million deaths.

Something like that. Maybe the OP did so somewhere in the thread. Kudos if he did so.

And death has killed umpteen billions so we shouldn't worry about a little pandemic now and then...
