Learning to say NO to a post pan-demic world.

For philosophical reflections on the COVID-19 pandemic. How can philosophy help us to understand it, to combat it and to survive it?

You know you can do it, so just say NO

demic (not comparable) (rare) Of or pertaining to a distinct population of people. (ecology) Of or pertaining to a deme. (dialect) Dysfunctional; broken.

If you don't say NO, then the demics will trample all over you.

Do you think that revolution, or resistance to an incident of oppression, is more of a No to what is, rather than a Yes to what can be?

I anticipate that a post-pandemic world will resemble the pre-pandemic world while retaining some of the new normal.

As such, the impetus for some sort of revolution would be weak even among those who are dissatisfied with the status quo.

You can only want or have what there IS.
What ''can be'' doesn't exist, except as fantasy.

Know what you want and can have, and what you don't want and can't have. Say what you mean and mean what you say.

Only YOU know what feels right or wrong, what feels good or bad. Let your (Yes be Yes) and your (No be No) firmly.

Only YOU are responsible for your life. Only YOU are the driver of the body vehicle that is a one off, never to be repeated, unique YOU and only YOU.

Things are always changing, the goalposts are always moving.
