For philosophical reflections on the COVID-19 pandemic. How can philosophy help us to understand it, to combat it and to survive it?

I don't think there's much to worry about there. If we don't reduce population through contraception, abortion or other legal and humane means, then mother nature seems intent on doing it for us--the hard way.
There's no population crisis and the pandemic is a sham.

If you say so.

The pandemic will have ZERO impact on the world's population.
There were 80 million more people in 2020 after deleting pandemic deaths.
There are 37 million more this year already.
Nature is not a "mother", nor does it have any solutions to our problems.

There is no doubt that rates of increase are dramatically down but that has noting to do with the pandemic.
I wasn't suggesting the pandemic was going to reduce population. And as far as "mother" nature. It's just a saying and bears no real importance to the subject anyway.

It's a bad saying. Nature has no "intent". Things only make sense when you know that.

That puts militia in its place, but it also gives the diabolical Left cause to fundamentally change the SCOTUS and change that interpretation, since for the Left the constitution is merely to be interpreted as a means to their ends.

Which ought not matter one jot to free people.

Those four pieces of parchment are a codification, not a source.

Let the supremes re-interpret it.

Let them negate it.

Nothing makes sense in nature, at least not to me. In respect to my desires and needs, it's just chaos orchestrated by certain material properties that tend toward certain behaviors and material formations. I'm not flourishing under those circumstances. I'm looking for happiness and that is not in the cards in this world for me. Maybe it is for you but that's because we are different. Maybe you are a better adaptation of DNA or something but we're not the same person and don't share the same reality in that respect. So speak for yourself.

Somehow I don't think living between freeways is going to make for a good night's sleep. I'd probably move.
