If mathematics where invented to map out how phenomena relate and these relations can only be described through mathematics then these relations result in mathematics existing as an independent entity given they are an expression of these relations themselves, ie they are part of the relations that define them.

That is just mystic nonsense and not true! Reality is not contingent on anything!

Reality is contingent on itself thus is circular.

English is a good language to learn.
Contingent means, "Dependent on other conditions or circumstances."
Nothing can be contingent on itself.

X is X is X being contingent on X. Being is contingent on other being. This other being is being superpositioned in multiple states, ie one being existing through a variation of itself. The totality of being contingent on itself is the totality of being existing through a perpetual change where one phenomenon, the total, exists through another total with each total being different from the prior.

The total always changes thus is contingent on another total.

That's a lot assumptions. Language is the means by which human beings identify entities, their attributes, behavior, and relationships, but it is mistake to say, "language was invented in order," to do that because it implies an, "intention," that would be impossible without language. Also, language does not have to be vocalized (made with sound) because it can be signed (gestures) or use other methods (like marks and symbols). Whatever method is used, however, language could not exist until some human or humans invented it.

VVilliam wrote: Thu Feb 25, 2021 3:17 pm Well I am not a mathematician so my view on this has to do with the idea that everything we experience as physical [the universe] is the product of algorithms - coding.

On this planet [Earth] a great amount of coding is involved with biological life forms.

This is the 'math' I am referring to.
Do you believe the physical world is discrete, like a digital computer?

It would be interesting to know what you mean by, "coding is involved with biological life forms." If you are referring to dna/rna protein, "coding," that is not mathematical (coding) at all. If anything it is geometrical and chemical, parts of which can be described mathmatically, like any physical thing, but the life attribute itself is not physical and cannot be described in any physical or mathematical terms.

Language is the act of pointing. All phenomenon as changing necessitates all phenomenon as pointing. All of reality is subject to it's own language.

False again.

1. Change of one phenomenon to another is the act of pointing as one phenomenon is directed towards another.

2. All language is pointing.

3. Thus "changing phenomenon" and "language" share the same nature.
