Re: What Is Love?
Love is basically an emotion but it seems to be defined by its function.
Emotions are the brain's representations of the state of awareness. If a person feels an emotion, he is feeling something similar to a sense but a sense is a representation of reality while an emotion is a representation of (the state of) awareness. This is so subtle as to seem unreal. But to be real the feeling of an emotion is a representation of something.
Intellectual love describes the behavior, reasons and interpretations of someone in love. Sometimes love means strongly like.
