The author states : "The fact that scientific theorizing and scientific concepts go beyond observable experience sits at the very heart of science."

While science can make predictions these can only be verified by 'observable experience'. Hence it is not accurate to claim that 'scientific concepts go beyond observable experience'.

the fact that an event has occurred in the past is no guarantee that it will happen again in the future...
