Started off ok, then went off the rails into fallacy town.

You're misrepresenting the position. Veganism is about REDUCING suffering and damage. That's the best we can do for now.

Saying "veganism does nothing for the animals in the wild", is a nonsequitur. That's not the point of veganism (aside from the hunting aspect).

The animal farming industry causes more damage to the environment than plant food farming alone. There are better ways to grow plants foods, but again, this is beside the point. Veganism is still better all around.

Assuming the aliens will want our plant foods is adding silly assumptions to the argument that have nothing to do with the point of the argument. Total strawman.

That being said, the alien argument is bad. However, your response here is just as bad, if not worse, for the bulk of it.
