What is the name, of every person who lives in the Middle East?

What did you say? And what did you mean by it?

A person does need central government, in order to trade. And because central government applies to all, with the central government inevitably being made up of individual identities, thus, a person needs to know other people's names in order to trade.
Not all the names of people in ANY part of the world are known and yet there has been trading in every part of the known world since the dawn of time.

The dichotomy, that you reference is a status of yin/yang; yin/yang is symmetry, and symmetry belongs to all people's names being known by all people

There is no dichotomy in my statement.

Nah n lol.

Re that ILP site - lost track of what thread you mentioned it in - but ya I joined and I think I posted two things - took a long time to approve - I guess approval was required since i was a new user. I checked last week and noticed at least one thread I started, not sure what the other thread I posted in or started. I saw you posting and a couple of noobs to PHN that put me on to it, expressing better things here...shit!

I think this site should have a parallel site, restricted to subscribers that back the mag - and have stricter moderation - not too much about expletives, but just general ability to have honest reasonable debates - 3 strikes and you could be red carded for a month! - also could have a locked debate for two people or maybe three where only they get to debate a particular argument. If a decent thread title from this open forum was created it could be copied at least from the thread title and OP to the restricted area for debate by the backers of the mag.

I used to be a subscriber for years.
But i had an issue with a person stalking my comments. Even though I blocked them they made sure they made snide comments about me in other people's threads, so there was no way to avoid the insults. And that person was dedicated, tracking every post i made averyday.
Moderators did nothing, so I quit my subs.

As for my computer.
It's a Dell 17inch laptop running an:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.21 GHz with 8BG RAM
Less often I use my desktop which is also i7, with 32Gb, and a good Nvida Graphics card - cant remmeber the number but that has its own 8Gb too.

Fair enough.

I think if there was a large uptake of non-subscribers for the alternate forum, then such moderation might be afforded. I do find all these generic PHP forums rather dull in their setup - with (quite) a few modifications to the script it could be a much better platform for discussion.

btw - it's stationery rather than stationary - wot a larf the Engrish langwage can be! - honestly I didn't know the mere difference between an 'a' and an 'e' could make such a difference when it comes to staples and space and time itself!

Yes, ,as I typed I considered both possibilities, but being a bit dyslexic either means living an obsessive life with perfection or simply accepting that I am gonna make a mistake once in a WhOle. I choose to not worry too much and take the flak when people throw it.

I find it very hard to remember the definitions of words - so, when I write stuff, I have to sometimes paste the word into a dictionary and sometimes that word is the opposite meaning to what I thought it meant. Even there, I know there is a word for opposite-word but cbf looking it up again..actually - thanks for introducing me to the word homophone, years ago! :)

I ask, because of the dichotomy, that people are trading organisms, meaning they are supposed to trade with all of one another; since trading needs names, it makes sense for every person to know the name of every other person
That makes, precisely, ZERO sense.
I'll clarify:

Trade needs people's names,
'Trade' does NOT 'need' people's names.

Human beings 'trade' things while NEVER knowing the names of the people they are trading with.
trokanmariel wrote: Wed Feb 09, 2022 12:51 am because trading is society,
'Trading' is trading, and, 'trading' is NOT 'society'. 'Society' is society.
trokanmariel wrote: Wed Feb 09, 2022 12:51 am and society means people's names being used.
'Society' does NOT mean people's names being used.

That human beings USE people names while living in 'societies' does NOT mean ANY thing like you propose here.
trokanmariel wrote: Wed Feb 09, 2022 12:51 am Because trade is inevitable,
'Trade', itself, is NOT inevitable.
trokanmariel wrote: Wed Feb 09, 2022 12:51 am meaning that the use of people's names is inevitable,
Human beings AND societies can and DID exist WITHOUT trading and WITHOUT people's names. So, the use of people's names is NOT inevitable. However, in saying that, the chances of human beings not using people's names while human beings are still existing would, I say, be extremely slim.

this means that all people should know all people's names[/quote]

Absolutely NOTHING of what you have just said here infers that ANY of that MEANS that ALL human beings "should" KNOW ALL people's names.

Okay - you said basically the same thing. So, it was not nonsense, but it was completely wrong.
You do not need to know a person's name to trade with them.
You certainly do not need to know the name of "every single person" in the Middle East for trade to continue.
ANd even if you know some names whilst trading, all people definitely do not need to know the names of all other people. Adise from not being necessary, or even useful, it is impossible.

This is a Samuel L Jackson truth, not a Morgan Freeman one
More nonsense!

Now you are OBVIOUSLY just 'trying to' BE STUPID, like in EVERY other thread of YOURS I have read.
