Scientists have warned that 2023 is set to be a scorcher with temperatures set to rise ‘off the charts’ causing unprecedented heatwaves.

"It's the sixth one", she said (zoom had crossed level 24). "Are you sure?" his voice (still) crackled over the radio. The 94th fleet had arrived. "Are you sure?" "Positive! Dr. Minz has never been wrong!" "Well, there's always a first time. Look!"

The snow is pretty bad this year in and around Oslo.
It’s shoulder deep in most places. With temperatures dipping to minus 21

The latest chuckle around the Right Wing Water Cooler is that Little Greta Weather Girl's five-year climate predictions and their hideous consequences have come due ... and since they didn't happen she quietly erased them from her website rather than tarnish her Jean d'Arc, indignant sooth-saying image. Not sure what it was she predicted would happen but I think it involves the end of the world. How would she know? Five years is about half her age, and the effect of that is the Elizabeth Holmes syndrome squared.

The weather CHANGES, just like about absolutely EVERY thing else does. Besides, of course, when and while a human being has or maintains a BELIEF.

Sounds like beach weather. :D

Interesting weather = whether as a homophone - as in whether to go outside and do stuff, weather permitting.

God forbid we take away the excesses of a Republican voter - muscle cars, guns, the right to run the air-conditioning\heating when nobody is home, just so that on arrival at home, the house is at the desired temperature...etc.

Exactly. And rather than forfeit any of that they simply deny all the overwhelming evidence that's bashing them in their greedy fat faces, like the fucking self-centred, resource-hogging morons that they are.

stretch it out ...

It's a nice day. The sun is shining. It's soon time for my cigar walk. I've been saving a good one from Christmas, in the humidor (tupperware).

Yesterday I installed some baseboard moulding for one of the clan. We trade family favours such as skills and knowledge. It was a small job but one still needs all the right tools.

I'm not sure.

A rise by 3/4 Degree C in a 100 years? what do you think?

The UK has not experienced 40C temps before last year. So the heat here in the UK is definitely on the rise.

Where do you get 3/4 of a degree? We must be reading it differently.
