Rare enough to attract pookas.

Is that what you mean?
A photograph? lol.. I see only one image.

Are you trying to play with our minds, Walker?
It's there. Incredibly hard to spot. I don't know what it has to do with a 'pooka' though. Walker is beyond weird.

I found it.. well-camouflaged, I’ll give it that.

I’m sure that there’s a reason, behind this beyond-weirdness of Walker’s regarding the photo/pooka connection.

Whew. I was beginning to think y’all were putting me on.
Not so incomprehensible now, uh huh.
And how about those pookas.

A purpose? So, this is what is has led to.
Well, even when told that the snow leopard is there, it was invisible.

This indicates there is likely more in the universe that is obvious but unseen, looking right at you.

They are said to be benevolent.. malevolent.. but not malicious.

Not so much invisible as unseen/hidden, to me at least. My cat does the exact same thing, in hiding himself away, either in a place or by camouflaging himself against whatever backdrop takes his fancy.

Are you of Celtic origin, by any chance?

Our blonde tabby used to hide his movements. I'd look at him and he would be motionless, watching me, and when I thought to look again he would be closer. This would continue until suddenly he would leap up onto my chair to surprise me, and I think he was pleased that he could. He was like a pouncing leopard but instead of roaring “gotcha!”, he would purr a little trill when he jumped, which I figure was partly civilized instinct and partly exertion from the jump.

Outside of Mass. Celtic mania loses some cachet, even with its great alumni.

Are you getting the picture?

- Leopards lack sufficient access to the mind sense of word pictures, but humans have that mind access.
- Humans lack the mind sense to sprint down a mountain-side and use the eagle-technique of knocking a herd-goat into space, but rare as they are a snow cat has less surprise than an eagle, what with all the noise caused by scrambling for food over a slippery cliff-face.

Harry’s House & Centerpiece is a fine example of human mind access to word pictures.

Hi Mags. I feel the need for e-prime:

The photograph shows a rocky cliff face, a few patches of snow clinging to the ground. A snow leopard crouches, partially hidden by a small boulder. The animal’s markings blend into the surroundings so completely that it escapes attention if it remains still, and of course it does remain still in the photograph.

Various still pookas also appear in the play of shadow and light. They appear on the irregular surface of the rocks. Like the snow leopard, these pookas remain still in the photograph. Memory informs us that the snow leopard will eventually move. Rationality tells us that mind fashions the perceived forms of pookas on the surface of the rocks.

However, when the clinging grip on memory relaxes, attentiveness to present experience as it unfolds, without judgment formed by preconceptions, reveals that the snow leopard will vanish when attention strays elsewhere, and the pookas will also vanish when attention strays elsewhere. Movement causes the snow leopard to vanish without a sound. Shifting light causes the pookas to vanish without a sound. They vanish from attention, and we assume they do not vanish from existence.

"Does that decompress your lower back?"

that's what they say. the idea is that you pull and stretch the spinal column so that when the vertebrae are pulled apart, lubricant fluid can get in there between them, see.

No siriusly you gotta do sprints once in a while to get the cardio up a bit. But isn't that an awesome field? If you had to battle orcs or indians or the British, this would be the field.

Anyway just wanted to post a pic of the field through which I did run.
