I am writing a notebook with scientific curiosities and general culture taken from the internet, tv and library… but at the moment I feel some difficulty in having a topic…
What is the best general culture theme?
I choose the brain.
What is the best general culture theme?

..with a view to being aware as possible about the implications of technology on society now and in the near future - CYBERPUNK.

How are you defining "general culture"?

I think it would probably help if you did NOT answer for him.attofishpi wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 10:59 pmI think he means biological culture, such as brain matter.

Re: What is the best general culture theme?
In that case consider that "I think" is probably not required in both our cases.
Re: What is the best general culture theme?
When I watch TV, I always feel that I can have better themes than them and I decided to write a notebook. I also think you can do better than TV. We will destroy them.
For example, I have never seen a documentary about art or philosophy, or about literature. I already wrote an email to a channel with topics that they could cover. But nothing happened.
General culture is impossible to define but we can think of themes that could be found in documentaries ...
Some topics that a like:
- which musical band sells the most?
- what coffee can do for health?
- Which video game sells best?
- Pills for the brain result?
- What is the best weight loss strategy?
- What is the best study method?
- What is electricity in atomic terms?
- How many artistic movements existed?
- What scientific errors exist in the Bible (such as the earth being flat)?
- What is the ideal amount of physical exercise?
- What statistical data could replace GDP?
There are more but I don't write now

..from the top down it improved, but Y care - you appear to me like the current generation that NEED to feel that they conform - that statistically they 'balance' out. Being an individual is on its last leg, and CYBERPUNK is mainstream now to the same morons that feed on the puddles instead of the fathoms of the oceans.
Sorry - I did overlook this statement of yours:- "For example, I have never seen a documentary about art or philosophy, or about literature. I already wrote an email to a channel with topics that they could cover. But nothing happened. "
...youtube - ensure you are part of the gmail or whatever system that can login with a UTUBE account - pay for it to piss adverts off and subscribe to soooo much stuff that you find interesting regarding ART PHILOSOPHY --- MUSIC ---- SCIENCE. ...it's worth what I pay 50c a day.
...broadcast TV is nearly redundant.
