PRIMUS FANS ONLY

This was just released. It's a bit long and I'm not overly impressed with it, but from 8:00 onward it gets good.

Edit: it's the lyric parts that aren't working out. This should have been an instrumental with only the chorus lyric 'conspiranoia' and the voice sampling from 8:00 on.

No. I'd rather have my ballsack strapped to something extremely large that does not sink.

I've just been listening to a few track on Youtube with this guy Dmitri Hvorostovsky, -he's the one with the white hair.

... Truly a great Baritone..

But only to find out he died of cancer in 2017 at the young age of 55.
God is such a c*nt.

Thousand Island Park from Birds of Fire.

No but seriously: https://youtu.be/HDkipPU81f0

I remember the pure reverence I felt for this album, incidentally the first 'fusion' I ever heard. At the time we (who all played various instruments) all thought AC/DC, Hendrix, pink Floyd and led zeppelin were as good as it got. We had heard Yes and Crimson obviously but that's progressive rock. None of us had the slightest clue that this kind of jazz fusion existed. I wuz blown away and from that day on I approached drums and guitar differently.

I remember raiding my friend's dad's record collection after we found birds of fire.

Further now there's a man of taste, of talent and precision. To work and strive at his art form has been his life's decision. The stage is set, the perfect show is put before the mass. Only to be ridiculed by some slimy, pompous--

Late PRIMUS too. That's what makes it so tasty. Bands are supposed to lose it and get gradually worse as they near the end of the original lineup. But tales from the punchbowl and this album were excellent.

Really it's the extended instrumental jam toward the end that makes it.

Surprised they recorded our latest church recital, I'm the guy with the fireworks shooting off my back. They wanted to put them up my bottom but I had concerns it could cause issues with my haemorrhoids down the track.

I don't ever recall liking a remaster/remix less than the original. That's the original one there from the album, and it sounds less filtered, cleaner than the remaster/remix. Sometimes you don't wanna clean the track up and change instrument volume levels and all that editing shit.

Also that's connors, not di meola on guitar. Lol he's totally struggling to keep up with corea in the solo dueling.

Bill Connors didn't last one album before they got di meola.
