That is horrible. Can't you post some melodic tunes by nice boys like this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMRtqnzA_oU
Misery Signals is incredibly melodic, what are you talking about? The genre is literally something like melodic posthardcore :P

I am so old that I didn't think I would ever hear anything more gloriously cacophonic than the Sex Pistols and Motörhead. As a dad, it bothered me that there should be something my girls could be into that I really hate. Then I heard The Cancer Bats https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2j-xR_wSAQ and I knew that all was right in the world. As it happens, there's a little theatre in west London where my daughters used to perform. So did The Cancer Bats.

Hey Cancer Bats was pretty alright in my book, thanks for that!

If you want cacaphonic, look no further than some good noisecore my friend. Meet Converge. Jane Doe is in my top 10 albums of all time I could listen to start to finish.

This was some of the first djent I ever heard and probably still the best I've heard: https://youtu.be/q0ZrF7taMHA

My experience with polyrhythmic mathmetal and djent type stuff extends not much further than meshuggah, so I don't doubt there is much more out there I would like if I heard it. But bro there's sooooo many bands I'm not bout ta go randomly sampling metal bands to find the good stuff. I'm good with Hall and Oats greatest hits.

By whom? Or, is it by who?

More specifically, how? In other words, who is doing what, and do you know why? And, when will the screwing end, if ever?

What is your evidence? Can one with no respect for words prove such a bold statement?

Can you define generation? Can you define, younger generation?

Because you have not done so, why have you not done so?

Are these questions nothing more than a pain in the ass?

What does the word ass mean to you?

(Ain't so difficult, this method of philosophizing.)

I could probably manage if they put the start and finish a lot closer together. At the Drive-in are about my limit. Just been responding to seeds thesis that the use of expletives is indicative of moral decay. I think perhaps it is an essential part of growing up that young people have something that appals their elders, so it pleases me no end that there is music I find really awful.

Imogen Heap -- You Know Where to Find Me

You know where to find me
When you're on your way out
All bustle and busy
Enough is enough
Because life's sweet assemblages
Equate to driftwood away
Be still with me

You know where to find me
For no particular reason
To stop traffic behavior
Or to get something off your chest
'Cause we go a long way back
Back to nothing at all
Hmm, be still with me

You know where to find me
If you think it's all over
I can sense it a mile off
It's no friendly hello
You could be screaming drunk
Well I've got my bad days too
I'm gonna be here for you
Be still with me

In a public place, private thoughts
A reminder of a precious loss
You can be a source of constant reassurance
Let the breeze block sadness drop
Oh oh oh
Won't you be
Be still with me

(Be still) Heart, lung, soul
Arteries and all
A shoulder at the ready, vital organs on call
(Be still) Heart, lung, soul
Arteries and all
A shoulder at the ready

Don't mistake my charity
For what it is
Deem me into believing necessary
Don't mistake my open arms
For what it is
They can turn on you
So show me the money
Show me the money

Blue and green,
Fresh eyes on me
I'm young again
All things to mend with
Bite-size life boats
I'll fix your smashed up head

Be still with me
If you want
To be alone (Be still)
If you'd rather die then tell
You'll know where I'll be (Be still)
Where to find me
For high talk
To cut it off or bring it on

A proposal
If you're broken, I'll be here,
I'll be here

A secret
For a breather
If there's nothing you can do

Just been reminded by my daughter that it's Mercury Prize time again. She sent me this from the shortlist: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcFD2b9NYrk
