It was maybe not a great idea for the US to cut the executive department responsible for pandemic response in 2018?

Whatever. Russia Russia Russia didn’t work. Stormy Daniels didn’t work. Syria didn't work. Spying on his campaign didn't work. Tax returns didn't work. Ukraine didn’t work. Impeachment didn’t work. Criticizing his personality didn’t work. Maybe coronavirus will stick to the Orange Man and if not, there will be something else to try. Maybe the weather.

- Coordinated efforts to overwhelm the southern border then propagandizing the consequences didn't work...

- 90% plus negative media coverage of his presidency didn’t work …

- blocking his judicial nominations didn’t work …

- public libel and slander didn’t work …

- - Criticisms for cutting bloated bureaucratic redundancy such as what the OP references won’t work …

- (feel free to leave nothing out)
