But China's population is absolutely massive so I doubt viruses or disease are an issue there because the chinese cities capacity to proliferate sucessfully in the way they have over thousands of years just shows their efficient capacity for immunity to any bug it's exposed to. Dirty conditions mean nothing, it could even mean the more dirt, the more the human immune system is strengthened, and not weakened. It seems to me that the dirtier the country is, the greater the population.vegetariantaxidermy wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 6:35 pm Why is disease rampant in places where people are crowded together in dirty conditions? In modern countries with a high standard of living we don't have that excuse. We can't eliminate disease and viruses, but we can limit their spread.
But for this Covid-19 virus ..It only takes one unprotected sneeze or cough, so we need to be more aware of this more importantly than of hand washing.
This is why I personally think there is something more sinister going on, I'm suspicious, since nothing seems to have been learnt from the SARS and Ebola outbreak.
This virus is in the human body now, it's airborne and we are all breathing the same air, so we can only be at it's mercy at this time.
Also, babies, toddlers, and small children are known to be the super-spreaders of flu viruses, they are the silent carriers without being aware of the dangers they pose to us.
