lol man I love Monty python.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson were going camping. They pitched their tent under the stars and went to sleep. Sometime in the middle of the night Holmes woke Watson up and said: “Watson, look up at the stars, and tell me what you see.”
Watson replied: “I see millions and millions of stars.”
Holmes said: “and what do you deduce from that?”
Watson replied: “Well, if there are millions of stars, and if even a few of those have planets, it’s quite likely there are some planets like earth out there. And if there are a few planets like earth out there, there might also be life.”
And Holmes said: “Watson, you idiot, it means that somebody stole our tent.”

Brings to mind an old one ...

Jesus said unto the theologians: "Who do you say that I am?"

They replied: "You are the eschatological manifestation of the ground of our being, the ontological foundation of the context of our very selfhood revealed."

And Jesus answered them, saying: "Huh?"

The Adventures of Greta

Greta Thunberg's carbon-reducing exit via boat blown by captain's transAtlantic flight

This is an opportunity for Al Gore to get his name in the news by donating carbon credits to Greta.

Al Gore could be the Hail Mary candidate.

Any man juggling two women is eventually confronted with not just a moral dilemma but a problem in elementary physics as well which states: "You can't have your Kate and Edith too."

A road act for the Catskills or Chitlin Circuit?

NYC Coffee Startup Tamps Down Bro Culture by Hiring Philosopher

“His solution? He hired a philosopher.”

“Mr. Blackman, who charges $500 to $600 an hour and consults for businesses ranging from a software company to a bio-chip implantation startup, says good ethics make for good business. In the case of Kitu, that seems to bear out.”

I think I'd vote for Trump rather than another killiry.

Good philosophy. Better to be a deplorable than a gullible sheep voting for a selfie façade.

After sailing the high-seas Show-Boat Greta will soon be indignantly denouncing all deplorables at the big climate party, but then what adventure awaits? Cackling Killary might jet in to woo the little tyke. Put her on the payroll and speaking of that, $600 an hour as a philosophy consultant sounds like an interesting philosophy but on the paying side it’s probably considered a luxury in flush times; when the belts tighten the title will be the second corporate expenditure cut out of the budget, the first being charitable donations such as those to haul Greta across the ocean, at least twice that we know of.

Progressives are prone to denouncing their hyper-simplified vision of the world where they are right and the deplorables are wrong (ruling mentality). Progs do this because their world fails to meet a subjective and often fantastical view of what should be, don’t you think?
