What to one mind is the absolute truth, to someone other's mind a quirk, to a third mind a folly, and which to yet a fourth person is nothing but some degenerate opinion, is taught in schools to young minds as absolute truth.
You've got to teach the sprogs something, my man! It's our cultural transmission and bodies of knowledge that separates us from other apes. Fashions as to what is taught come and go.
So totally agree. What I meant to say with my prev post I meant to say with it being equal among all world views: no matter whether one believes in God, in matter, in another god, in another matter, the statement I made applies to each equally and reciprocally.

No matter what you teach to the little nips: Bible, Koran, Mein Kampf, Buddhism, Das Kapital, Der Kritik der reinen Vernunft, The Art of War, The Kama Sutra, or the Communist Manifesto, some will applaud it, some will decry it.

I think how equal educational content is borne out how a culture's fares.

My quirk is best expressed by the words of John Lennon:

Nothing is real, and nothing to get hung about.

Is that internalised or aspirational?

I gave up the aspirational approach. Just keeping the idea alive.

How other minds process the thoughts of my own mind is not my concern

I know absolutely nothing at all and I can demonstrate that mathematically

Nothing truly matters in the grand scheme of things only in the here and now

All of existence is transition because everything is ultimately in a constant state of motion

I am not interested in convincing anyone of anything at all because that is beyond my capability

I am however interested in anyone convincing me of anything I do not know but which is nonetheless true

Death is merely a transition from consciousness to non consciousness and as such should not be feared at all
