This is a tough question.

The one with the least flavour, the tiniest amount of nutritional value, and the highest number of calories.

Ignoring the bigots who know nothing about the USA, the question will largely depend on which part of the country one is talking about. In New Orleans, it may be some seafood gumbo dish. In the south, it may be barbecued smoked ribs. In the southwest, it may be enchiladas. Each region of the country has its own style of cuisine.

Some foods some people would pick are hamburgers, frankfurthers and corn. But hamburgers derive from Hamburg, frankfurthers from Frankfurt and corn from Indian maize. How American is that?

PE: It's the way we make them, first of all, and secondly, Americans are people from all over the globe, so why would that not be American cuisine?

Ofc those examples are made in America, but there's no distinct way of making them (look at how many hamburger joints and restaurants there are). And you acknowledge people from all over the globe in the US. So I wouldn't easily say there is American cuisine.

Tell a southerner that southern fried chicken is not American. Tell someone in Philly that a cheese-steak sandwich is not American.

Of course, Americans are not egocentric jingoists at all. To say that they are would be bigoted, since there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever for such a monstrously unfair assertion.

VT: Your initial comment on this post was quite bigoted against Americans. There is nothing even remotely rational about such bigoted comments. By the way, doesn't New Zealand rank third in obesity? And it's such a small country too. Japan has less obesity than New Zealand does, and Japan is the land of Sumo Wrestlers. So, while it's true the USA has an obesity problem, it is also true that your country does as well. Yet, you completely overlooked that fact in your first comment here. That's more evidence that you are a nationalist. You never, ever, state anything bad about New Zealand. In contrast, numerous Americans here have stated negative comments about the USA.

New Zealand is a provincial shit-hole that has no real identity any more. There's really nothing else to be said about it. They say it's just a mini US copycat now (including the fat arses) so there's no point in going there. I'm not sure how obesity is measured on the world obesity index. Polynesians are big people with high muscle mass. They could weigh more than a blobby blubbery wobbly american of the same height but not be at all 'overweight'.
And for those Americans who whine about anyone criticising their gas-guzzling, selfish, garbage-creating, planet-destroying, vulgar nightmare of a country, take heart; the rest of the world will be indistinguishable from it in another decade or less (except perhaps muslim countries that could still be beating Ronald McDonald off with a stick (or rocks) ).
Ooh. Can't wait. All that bad spelling and language butchering. Faux American accents everywhere. Women with plastic fish-lips and cricket-ball breasts. Navel gazing, group hugs, high fives, life coaches, unreality TV, Drs. Phil and Drew, corporate jargon, money obsession...........

VT: It's amazing how you fixate on America 24/7 on social media; yet, have so many false beliefs about the country, that as an American, I keep getting dizzy from reading your comments --- due to all the eye-rolls it causes.

You probably hang out on some warped social media sites where the average user is brain-damaged, uneducated, toothless and makes up crap about the USA all day. That would definitely explain it.
